Pantai Cahaya Bulan PCB is one of the most famous beaches in Kelantan Malaysia. It is located about 10 km from Kota Bharu and is a Japanese landing site to attack the British on December 8, 1941. At one time the beach was named Pantai Cinta Berahi a name allegedly given by a British soldier when he was on this beach during the War World II. At that time the soldier was suffering because his love was unrewarded. Some locals still use this old name today although they prefer to refer to this beach as a PCB.

This coast is 1.2 kilometers away. The beach is famous for its long and wide area with beautiful sand and clear water. The rows of ru trees and coconut trees add to the beauty of this beach. Thus Pantai Cahaya Bulan has become a popular picnic place amongst local families especially at the weekend. The beach is complete with facilities for visitors there is a choice of hotel chalet dining area dining outlets and public stalls and toilets. The drive to this beach from Kota Bharu will bring visitors through a traditional Malay town. This is an important handicraft area in the country for batik printing
songket weaving and kite making and baking. It is located about 10 km from Kota Bharu and the landing of Japanese troops to attack the British on December 8 1941.Formerly known as Beach of Passionate this is one of the most popular spots for some refreshing coconut water and local snacks while enjoying the sea breeze. The route to the beach is dotted with thriving cottage industries. Watch batik and songket textiles being made or get yourself a beautiful pareo or scarf. Wau or the giant kite is another popular item found here. Many comfortable chalets are available at the beach.
